Here is a list of courses and services we offer.
Conversational English
If you want to practice speaking to an English native, this is perfect. Talk about whatever you like. Our tutors are very calm and friendly. This is a great option if you want to keep your skills sharp or if you feel nervous speaking English. You can book one session or more. It’s your choice.
Usual Price $40 per hour. This includes in-lesson feedback.
Specific Project English
For any type of English project that you are working on. Perhaps you have a script, lyrics, interview questions or a presentation you have to practise. Your tutor can guide you through the text, discuss word choices, help you to prepare responses and develop your vocabulary. Express yourself accurately. Basically all aspects of the project can be assessed and worked through so you feel confident and capable. You can book one session or more.
Usual Price $65 per hour. This includes pre-lesson preparation by the tutor and in-lesson feedback.
Personalized English course
There’s a lot of flexibility in this course. From one session to ongoing sessions, we find out what you need and make a plan. The vocabulary covered depends on what you want to learn. The methods of teaching and materials will be tailored to you as a student. If suitable, self-study materials will be provided. Once they’ve been examined by your tutor, you’ll receive feedback.
Usual Price $65 per hour. This includes lesson preparation, self-study material preparation, one-to-one lessons and feedback.
10 Week Creative Writing course
You’ll spend ten weeks learning a range of useful creative writing skills. It includes one hour a week of one to one tutoring and various self-study materials. You will study the main types of writing, the four main aims of writing, narrative voices, expressive and emotive vocabulary, pronunciation (if required), and a whole bunch of creative writing techniques. The self-study work should take about an hour a week to do, though you can request more self-study practise materials if you want to. You will be provided with self-study materials and, once they’ve been examined by your tutor, you’ll receive feedback.

4 Week Creative Writing Course
If you have only one area of creative writing that you’d like to study, then the four-week course might be right for you. For example, if you want to study only article writing you’ll spend four weeks practising those skills. There will be one hour-long lesson a week. You will study several types of writing, expressive vocabulary appropriate for the style of writing you picked, pronunciation (if requested), and general creative writing techniques. There will also be self-study materials that your tutor will give feedback on.

1 Hour + Work Review
If you need help with something very specific and you want to have some written work assessed, then you can request an hour of one-to-one conversation and an additional review of your work done separately. We recommend that you send your work in for review first and then discuss the work during the hour of conversation. That way you can discuss the work and comments together. This is better for making sure you are on the right path.
